Things that make me happy are complicated right now. I've spent the last year: discovering that I was horrified by my job, figuring out why, getting up the balls to leave, attempting to leave, and, hopefully within two months, getting the hell out of here. Things that make me happy are sadly intertwined with many things that make me sad: the happiness I used to find in my job is overwhelmed by my sadness at leaving it, and my sadness about what it's become from what it used to be.
The things that make me happy right now are the Husband, and various friends and family. Even when everything else is exploding, I've still got them.
I'm trying not to Emo on my actual LJ so forgive me if I skip actually posting this there. Just wanted to reply, so you know I'm still out here, still reading, and still paying attention.
Nine months old! My god. Picked a college yet? :)
