Reading some newage-y stuff tonite, started thinking about the place/pattern of self-reinvention in my life thus far. And about how I tend to define myself by the projects I work on. Whether it was the jewelry business, or improv, or college for that matter. "I am teh Chrysilla, I do _____ things

If there is one thing I've learned over the years, it's that my interests tend to run in cycles. So when something stops sustaining me, I move to the next thing, knowing that I will eventually pick up whaatever I am putting aside. That said, I also see no need to stop identifying with it, since it is a part of who I am, even if not the active part at the moment.

That's true. I've still *made* lots of awesome things, even if I'm not active with it now :-)
