I had an important realization this morning regarding my job search.

I believe that I was laid off because the work I've been doing does not support or promote my spiritual vocation.

If that's the case, why am I putting so much more energy into finding the same kind of job rather than investing at least equal energy into developing my spiritual ( Read more... )

The last couple of nights I've gone to bed at about the usual time, had somewhat broken sleep, and woke up around 7:20am -- two hours later than what I've been setting my alarm for. I've spent the last three hours futzing on the computer (and having a healthy breakfast!), but it's time to get to work.

I need to look for jobs, call the transition counselors, clear off my dining room table and take photos of it for Craig's List, get Wolfling out of bed so we can start packing for the move. . .
