Wow. . . It's kind of hard to believe this is really my last day to go into the place I've worked for more than five years. I won't even be there the entire day. I had an important realization this morning regarding my job search.

I believe that I was laid off because the work I've been doing does not support or promote my spiritual vocation.

The last couple of nights I've gone to bed at about the usual time, had somewhat broken sleep, and woke up around 7:20am -- two hours later than what I've been setting my alarm for.
