It's 6:15am and I am the first person in the coffee shop this morning. I didn't plan to be up this early. I was going to sleep until I was awake and rested, but when a residual alarm on my gadget went off at 5:15, I couldn't get back to sleep -- and I did feel (mostly) rested

When I read this, it tripped my deja vu detector. Wasn't there an incident at one of the debate tournaments involving a fabricated wake-up call?
In any case...I'm really looking forward to the after-action reports on this operation. ;-)
