Firefly theme tune had a great Western Frontier feel to it.

I like the opening sequence and theme tune to AtS too but hated BtVS tune with a passion.

AtS theme and opening was indeed great. I actually liked the BtVS song and opening quite a lot, but it's not the most original song.

I <3 that Joss wrote this song. I just think that's the best ever.

As for the BtVS opening, I did like it a lot- but less the song and more the sequence of images. I loved waiting at the beginning of each season to see which of Buffy's Power Poses they were gonna use. ;)
