Eh, it would only ruin the price of gold if he did it so incessantly as to be conspicuous internationally. Then again, I'm not an economist, so I could be totally off.
I didn't think the flying per se was obvious, just that he had a power of some kind.
I totally watched all of Design Star on On Demand recently. Heeheehee. I, too, was ECSTATIC when Robb got booted. Ugh. Such an ass. I love love love Kim's tv personality. I feel like she strikes just the right balance.
And all I really really love about Todd is that he spends most episodes mostly shirtless. ;)
Robb was AWFUL. Every episode that he stayed in, we were like WTFEVIL!!!! I loved how much Kim wanted to kill him when they did Wayne Newton's kitchen. Do you remember the scenes that cut back and forth between the two vans going home from that job? Todd and Will were all, "That's awesome, go you, buddy!" and Robb and Kim were screaming at each other. *hee*
Kim is so sweet and relaxed on camera. I loved what she did with that family's trailer after so many disasters with that project, poor thing!
Well, yes, shirtless Todd is okay. I do like what he did with that 99 cent challenge, when he made the room look like it'd been hit by a wave. That was pretty hilarious. :)
> I was very happy with everything except the new people in Mexico(?), but that was mostly just because we don't really know what's going on there yet. Could be interesting, I suppose.
I believe the twins were in Honduras (they did speak Spanish). They are believed to have 'abilities' like the rest of 'the others', however (as per the sister's conversation) she (not surprisingly, sociologically-speaking, in Honduras) believes their gift to be a 'sin' which has to be 'corrected'. They are looking for our doctor boy, who was in India earlier being solicited by goldmember (editor's note : not his real name, of course, but a great nickname! Hiro Powers in : Goldmember! heh)
Yes, I got most of that, I just thought it would've been neater to know a little bit more about what their abilities are. It seems like it's mostly the sister who has the abilities, but she seems to somehow need her brother around in order to protect others from her doing... something. Something that results in people being not alive anymore. *skeery!*
HIMYM: Very funny, but we need to get caught up on seasons 1 & 2. I don't like missing out on in-jokes.
TSJA: I's still digging the show's Snick vibe, but you're right: not enough Sara Jane. At first I wasn't too happy to see the Slitheen. It seemed too much like "Well, we have these costumes lying around, let's save a pound and recycle them." But then Baby Slitheen appeared and all was awesome.
H: Bennet's beat down of his boss is my new #1 favorite TV moment for right now. The rest of the ep was very cool, but about the level of cool I was expecting. What I want to know is: after Sulu and Mama P, who are the other seven "Silver Age" Heroes still alive?
Other 7: Well, we also know that Deveaux (sp?) and Papa P were in that gang, too, and I think probably Linderman was as well. That leaves just two unaccounted for. Scary boogeyman could be one. Heck, maybe even Mohinder Sr.
I totally loved the season premiers. Heroes. Gah. Good stuff. I'm also reserving judgment on the Mexican couple.. though they at least intrigue me.
When we saw Nathan's reflection... I thought for a moment that maybe it was actually Peter masking as Nathan. Of course, they blew that theory out of the water pretty quickly.. Overall, I'm super excited about the new season.
How I Met Your Mother was good.. as was Chuck (which I really wasn't sure about, but.. it had everyone's favorite Jayne as a main character, so.. it couldn't be bad). Actually, I think I might like Chuck more, but I'll hold judgment for at least another week.
We also saw Chuck and Journeyman on a cable On-Demand channel a few weeks ago and loved both of those, too. Chuck was very much like if Alias had been helmed by Whedon. ;)
