He could always tell something was missing.

As he stroked their arms, pet their hair, squeezed them all over- he knew something was missing. Their slim, perfect bodies weren't enough. Their long hair and round breasts were great to look at, but later they all blended together. Countless women were reduced in his memory to just another set of pretty eyes, another great rack.

He tried and tried, over and over. He sought it in clubs, in bars- hell, he sought in their fans. Each one he brought back to his room and tried so hard to find it with her. Each time ended in disappointment and tears. Some laughed at him, some screamed at him, all of them hated him for it. He was numb to it all, frustrated with himself. What the hell was he missing?

He wasn't ready when he found it.

One late night at the Super Junior dorm, Hyukjae stopped him before he headed back home. “Something's wrong with Jungsu,” he said, round eyes worried, almost tearful. “I don't know what to do. No one does.”

He nodded, he'd noticed it months ago. Their brave, caring leader was lost, too. As much as he wanted to help Jungsu, he'd always refrained because how could he be of any help when he couldn't even figure out what was wrong with himself?

“Please,” Hyukjae's pleading voice brought him out of his thoughts. “I think he's hiding on the roof. Could you try talking to him?”

He nodded and headed up the stairs. Jungsu was curled up, legs folded up and arms wrapped around them protectively. Even from the door he could tell their leader was crying. “Teukie?” It was barely a whisper, but Jungsu turned and gave him a desperate, tear-stained smile.

Park Jungsu was the best leader Super Junior could ask for, but he was afraid of everything. He feared who he was, who he had been before. He feared what had changed him into what he was. He was afraid of failure, but strangely more afraid of success. The future loomed before him with its terrifying unknowns, and everything in his past only made him fear the worst was yet to come. He felt as if he had gained so much but all of it was just more to lose in the end. Jungsu was tearing himself up from the inside out.

When those red, swollen and yet still so perfectly shaped eyes bore into him like that, he didn't know what to do. “Youngwoon...” Jungsu's voice was strained and hoarse, begging him to do something but not knowing what it wanted him to do. So he did the only thing he could think of.

Youngwoon yanked his leader to his feet roughly and hugged him, his grip so fierce he feared he'd break the smaller man but for some reason he couldn't loosen it. He mind was blank, he couldn't register his words as they left his lips.

“We're always here, hyung. Believe in us. You always have us. You'll always have me.”

Somehow his grip must have loosened because Jungsu pulled back a fraction and smiled. Jungsu smiled a smile that made his blood race, his breath catch. That long-missed dimple made a sudden reappearance, brightening his wet but beautiful face. That smile told him that everything was okay, that Jungsu knew that. It told him that Jungsu knew because Youngwoon had made him believe it.

He found it in that smile, hiding in that perfect dimple that he'd missed so much without realizing he missed it. Before he could think, he was leaning in and kissing that dimple, then kissing the smoothly curved lips next to it. Then Jungsu was kissing him back and Youngwoon knew then that he'd found it. Jungsu had found it, too.

Who knew it had been there all along?
