Yay for another discussion topic! I really love these posts. :)
I thought it was a bit of an odd episode, but enjoyable. I have a soft spot for Clive Anderson. Not usually a massive fan of Sandi, but she was lovely this week. And I've never come across Henning Wehn before, but I liked him. He didn't say much, though, which didn't seem very QI to me - usually they do a good job on an equal edit.
Haha, Alan talking about miming amused me. I know people who get annoyed whenever he rolls out a mime, but I think it's great. ♥
Being German myself, I tend to enjoy discussions and jokes about stereotypes (that relay joke was BRILLIANT!) and don't really mind if someone mentions the war ;) Concerning Wehn's accent - I kind of agree that in some places, his pronounciation did seemed a bit too "English". I mean, *I* certainly don't sound like that XD Maybe it's the effects of being there a lot or something, I'm not sure. I love Sandy and seeing her appear more often makes me immensely happy. Yay for mime!Alan =) Since I'm recovering from a cold, this episode was rather therapeutic and exactly what I needed after two days of non-stop suffering in bed ^^
So there wasn't a Nobody Knows question in this? Or was that the Justice statue question? :( I don't know why I'm so cut up over this since I don't actually like the concept of having a Nobody Knows section on a show about facts.
Anyway, I really liked this episode. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and the guests weren't trying to outdo each other. It helps that I liked all the guests as well. These episodes are more enjoyable to watch than the ones where either a guest is trying too hard or everyone's really raucous and noisy, lol.
