Okay.

So here in Wisconsin, on the November ballot will be an amendment to the state constitution stating:

Only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state. A legal status identical or substantially similar to that of marriage for unmarried individuals shall not be valid or recognized in ( Read more... )

the people who make the law are rarely the same people who abide by the law. they are simply not affected, and past putting on a nice face to get your votes, they care little about the people who are affected.

if they were affected, it'd be a big deal. it would be everywhere, and everyone would hear and talk about it. all of America would "care", and there would be endless millions of dollars of funding. which is worse: the expansive divide of separation of people from one social class to another, or how much the lower class helps the upper class?

i reference the statistical difference of funds between Bush's inauguration party, and the Tsunami relief efforts of that time. everything is relative, and in relativity to money and power, people have often seemed to matter very little.
