We watched Deep Breath on Saturday and I have just re-watched, so it's time for a write-up. My initial thoughts were "good, but not brilliant"; at a second viewing I am a little more positive. I liked the opening titles, but not so much the music.

Nice point about Sarah Jane in Aberdeen! I had forgotten about that, but I'm betting Moffat hadn't.

The Doctor actually explicitly says that he thinks his new face is like a subconscious message to himself, so I don't know what has made anyone think he chose it consciously.
