It's been a good day. I was moderately busy all day meeting with freshmen about their first English papers, and I met briefly with a colleague about a possible collaboration that will make me fabulously happy if it comes to fruition. Aquinas's fourth proof shows nothing, because steps 2 and 3 are wrong or unproven. The good news is, there doesn't have to be one single "maximally hot chick" either--and if there were, she certainly wouldn't be the cause of hotness in all the other women of the world.

Indeed, the example of the maximally hot chick came up in a conversation about the strategies students were using to refute the fourth way. :-)

Why thank you! What DMARDs are you on? Sulfasalazine? Methotrexate?

Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) for now. I also have a two-month supply of methotrexate, so if the Plaquenil doesn't do the trick I can switch.

What are you on at this point, if I may ask?

Acquiring said medications in Qatar turns out to be an interesting process, so I'm pretty proud of myself.
