Review-Metriod Prime 3: Corruption

It was freakin' awesome. The graphics were better than most games on the Wii. I was going to expect less, but it was great! Although I wish I could look at Samus without her bulky suit all the time, but it makes sense that she'd be having her helmet and suit on the whole time. She's that serious about business.

The games starts with Samus on her ship, I think ( I have a short term memory for most of the time). The remote lets you interact with a few buttons on the ship like the 4 buttons on your left and right, the screen at the bottom, and the thing on top. I almost missed the thing on top, and it was crucial for the story to continue. Most buttons are useless. Maybe with the exception of the one at the very right corner. That one lets you scan if you have any virus on you.

Once you're down from your ship, Samus can roll around, run around, shoot lasers, shoot charged lasers, drop those plasma-like bombs and use some scanner that will tell you what the random cluttered stuff on the background are for. The scanner is quite fun to play with at first, but you'd probably be bored with it soon enough due to the realistic 'scanning' message. Good news is, once you've scanned something, it will be a piece of cake to look at the data in the near future. Phew. Thank god. And charging up the laser attract shiny plasma balls (whatever they're called) towards you.

If I have to give a score for an initial opinion after playing for an hour, I'd be saying 8.5/10. I am that petty with scores.

Worth a buy? DEFINITELY. Among my Zelda collection, it's an equal.
