thank you for recommending this...i had read it before but it's a terrific reread. at times i actually, almost, feel sorry for claire and her pathetic life but mostly i feel disdain and disgust for her. i love that brian is on top with his justin...regardless of a job situation and that claire realizes that he's the one who got it right.

it's a wonderful fic.

What I love about this story is that even though Claire is mostly a hateful person, she never really sees herself as hateful. It's difficult to get into that mindset when you're basically writing a "villain". I love that etharei lets us see those internal moments that show how Claire became the way she did.
