I saw something on queer_rage about that, but my impression was that they were objecting to the word "tranny" used as an insult, not to the fact that Crazy Coulter was the one being insulted. It seemed to be a "come on, her incredible crazy bigotry IS crazy, but don't use 'trans*' like it's an insult" kind of thing.

Yeah. I guess my mentality has always been, worry about the bigots who get taken more seriously. Someone going "OMG like Ann Coulter has a penis!" is, to me, just stupid.
