My plans to use tumblr as an art-practice place look like they won't be going any further. Despite advertising on here, dA, and asking some friends, I've gotten tumblr questions/comments from... one person. :\

Not really enough to do much with there.

I know that I didn't comment because I was particularly busy the last several days, but what kind of questions or comments were you looking for in particular?

Well, pretty much any. Either ones about my character Zero and her setting, or silly questions, or whatever. If there's a question I can't use I can skip it, so the more the better.

Right on. It sounds like you'd really like to practice your art more, but you're not getting the feedback you're hoping for, but I hope you don't let that discourage you. Art, like writing, is in the doing.

If you don't mind me asking, by the way, when practicing, have you been referring to any tutorials or instructions? There was a point quite a while ago when I had been attempting to improve my drawing and got some value out of beginner's references, but I've since misplaced them. I wouldn't know where to return even if I wanted to, at this point.

The thing is I can- and do- draw on my own, but drawing stuff based on other ideas pushes my boundaries a lot more and makes me try harder.
