(no subject)
Echoing last year's message, once again I am at Queer Contra Dance Camp, and typing this on the XO laptop in the dining hall, where I was just in a late-night jam session. I should really go to bed, though as usual I have a hard time sleeping away from home, and the mattresses here have vinyl (?) covers that make squeaky noises when you turn over in your sleeping bag.
Today in addition to attending multiple dance sessions and another afternoon tea, I went to workshops on improving contra dance basics, beginning waltz, contra keyboarding (piano, not typing messages like this one:-)), and a singing workshop. jwg and rsc and pinkfish and zipperbear are all here, and everything is wonderful. Tomorrow there will be more dancing and another singing workshop, and then home again in the afternoon.
