wizzard890, my internet life partner and TCE co-author, dropped off the internet without warning about a week ago. This morning, I received this e-mail from her, via her mother:

I can't even begin to imagine how much of a nightmare that must have been for her. Just the thought of being on the brink of death like that is too horrifying to comprehend.

I hope she recovers well. She'll definiely be in my thoughts.

That is just...I hope her recovery goes well and that she can get back to what she loves as soon as possible. This isn't even about fics, this is about life...

God, exactly. I was so relieved to hear from her, because I was getting really worried, but--this is not the kind of news you hope for. I'm just so glad she's all right and on the mend. I'll pass along your best wishes!
