I love how Russia just takes over. You know he's more world-wise than you are, America, but you've just got to try and boss him around.
Of course, that's a great way to get Russia to dominate you if that's your goal. ♥

God, I know, right? It was so much fun writing that transition of the reins of the conversation, because America just did not stand a chance at a certain point.
I'm really glad you liked it! ♥

I-I'm sorry. THIS. I had to express my feelings of WIN about this before I went on reading. ^^;;

That was...very awesome. It hit on a lot of interesting points, and the student in me squeed at the "city on a hill" bit. And of course, it ends in angry!tabletop!sex. ^^
(I like being a weird Catholic! ^^)

If this is the Russia-American cold war diplomacy standards .....I want to know what happened during the McCarty period or the Cuban missiles crisis or the Breznev era!!! O_O
"I am hearing a great deal of 'I think' and 'I hope,' and very little 'I know.'": I feel sorry for America but Russia wins this match. His arguments are brutal but, in the end, more effective, even if I think that faith and church are two different things. Alfred talk about the hope in the first one, Ivan remember the mistakes of the second one.
"Catholics are weird anyway" but, Alfred...why? XD

Any interpretation of the Cuban missile crisis that doesn't include gun kink I treat as fundamentally flawed. >_>

It's just how American Protestants feel about Catholics! I went to ten years of Catholic school, and then moved to a very Protestant part of the country, and I was amazed at all the misconceptions they had about Catholics. Things like "Don't they worship Mary? Isn't that idolatry?"
I had a lot of very awkward conversations. XD
