List of much List-full-ness...

As opposed to listlessness.... Which is what I feel like after getting home about 2am? and sleeping on the sofa bed. Have I mentioned that the lounge room curtains are cream coloured and do bugger-all to keep the light out? Well. Dawn is early these days... And I noticed, even though I was in bed really really late...

I got woken up at 6 by one of the cats I'm looking after, wanting to be fed. *yawns*

Yes, it got left out of its container for way too long (like, nearly a month), at Della's insistence that it was fine, it would all be OK (just imagine this in ten year's time in a 13.5 year old. sigh). So of course it dried out and went all crusty. I tried soaking it in water, and it went all mushy and disgusting on the outside and remained firm on the inside.

So yes, the girls would love to have your spare!playdough. Thank you heaps and heaps. The colours don't matter, given that everything except a little bit of red was ruined (ie, a tub each of purple, blue, yellow, pink, green, and most of the red).

Um, I don't know if this is useful or not, but I still have our old green curtains sitting out in the shed.

They're full length and have separate blockout lining which is excellent quality, in really good condition, and could be re-used and sewn onto your current curtains to line them.

I know that this would be a temporary measure, but if you want them, they're yours. I also know that top quality blockout liner like that is really expensive. Up to you, but email me if you want them. As far as I remember, it would just be a matter of detaching the liner from the green curtains at the top, then attaching them to yours at the top of yours.

Email me if you want to follow up on this, or I'll advertise them for Freecycle. There are the two curtains from the front window, and the one big one from the sliding door (back) window). All they'd need is a wash.

It would also reduce the heat in the room substantially, or in whichever room you wanted to use the lining.

Thanks for the offer - let me think about it. I definitely don't have the energy at the moment, so can I get back to you after Tassie?

No problem - let me know if you want them. I haven't got round to getting rid of them yet (also due to lack of energy!). But the linings would certainly make a difference to the temperature of the room.
