I think it's one of those things of would you rather your band of choice play it safe or do something different/interesting, even if it's not a complete success. Now if only they'd considered succeeding in interesting ways ;)

Thanks for this post! That definitely makes more sense than thinking of 暁月夜 as the summer song. I watched the vids in that order (雪月花→サクラ、散る→暁月夜→白露) and it felt off. But if 暁月夜 is the transition from fall to winter, once all the leaves have fallen, the branches are bare, but the snow is yet to come...the song fits into the cycle nicely.
