You can link your Twitter to your LJ, but I think it only posts as a daily round up and not individually. I don't know if it works with communities.

I much prefer community discussions too. You can see all of the comments, get a better view of what people are saying, find people you don't know and add in more gifs XD Twitter is fun and is like a virtual chat room, I think.

It does take time to make a post, but I think it's far more rewarding to see the discussion it sparks in a community than to receive a few re-tweets.

i seriously dislike twitter. it was not made for chatting, so it's not really a good place for chatting. it was not made for posts, so it's not good for that. i'm not interested in micro-blogging, LOL. so i have no use for twitter.
but it's sad (for the likes of me, if no one else) how twitter has drawn everyone away from LJ and MSN Messenger and such places.

IDK what it is about Twitter, but something about it makes me really uncomfortable about taking part in discussions, and while I enjoy it immensely for the lulz you all bring in your banter, I hate having to go through hours and hours of timeline to see if I've missed anything significant news-wise. Same way I think Twitter inadvertently killed CAGS XD;;;
