It does mean, however, that if I was only after something casual, I’d probably only look at guys with dark hair.

To be fair, by tall I usually just mean "taller than me on the rare occasion I wear heels". Usually that isn't a problem, in Japan it's FAIL.

Yeah, I mainly just want someone visibly taller than me, never mind the heels at this point. Even my Osaka boy is an inch or two shorter... @____@;;

Speaking of such, he just sent me a text message that was probably meant to be flirting but just fell off a giant cliff into the culture gap and died horribly. Something like "You're a girl so you should practice wearing makeup and be pretty and come to Osaka for me" :|
