Backtagging/Threading is when someone replies to a thread after a long period of time. Basically, if they haven't touched it for maybe a week or something and then they reply. Some people don't like it because their character has moved on in plot, but others don't mind. =3 Hope that explained it, if not then I'll try again. XD
