[The sun's risen. But it looks like possibly only one of the two firebenders are rising with it that morning. What could be the problem? Zuko continues to sleep, undisturbed and unaware of the sun beginning to peek over the eastern horizon.

... He might even be quietly snoring, he's sleeping so heavily!]

[Iroh himself has slept in, accustomed to Zuko coming to wake him. Sleeping in is the luxury of the old.

When he finally does wake up, he frowns with confusion. How strange! After getting dressed, he knocks on Zuko's door.]

Nephew! Time to rise and shine! I hope I did not bruise you too badly yesterday.

[pyromatics]

[But there's no response. Zuko doesn't hear the knocking or his uncle calling to him. He just keeps on sleeping!]

[Now Iroh is worried. He knocks again, then opens up the door when Zuko still does not answer.]

Zuko? Are you all right?

[He goes to nudge Zuko awake.]

[No, but they might have pinched him in other areas!]

The only time I ever wore green was when I stayed in the Earth Kingdom. Not exactly my color...

I prefer red and gold to green.

[But that's... Fire Nation preference... or rather what he was brought up on wearing 24/7]

[He should have known Sokka would tag along! Zuko really won't complain though.]

...I didn't think you knew what a turtleduck was. [Zuko glances over with a bit of surprise showing on his face, but he keeps on trudging along on the stone pathway.]

[Stuffs his hands into the front pockets of his pants as he reaches the pond. Zuko watches the lone turtleduck moving around along the surface, the orange and gold fish swimming away from it.

It feels weird to be without his firebending for more than the time of the eclipse. Too weird.

Zuko looks down at a hand as he pulls it from his pocket, flexing his fingers. Way too weird.]

There weren't any here before, not until this morning.

Are these curses always so weird?

They can get pretty bad at times. Depends on the day and curse.
