[Mai continues out of the shop and to the sidewalk, walking along to leave, and while she puts herself out of the company of most of the people inside, she doesn't get far enough from the property to prevent anyone from running after her.
She's too angry to worry about where she is and what she will have to do. It still hasn't dawned on her just how screwed she is, but mostly that's just because she's choosing to focus on more petty matters instead of the much larger picture right now.]
[She crosses her arms and stares at the other girl.]
...
[And stares.]
...
[And, yep, still staring.]
...
[Generosity and kindness weren't things that Mai was used to. She wasn't always surrounded by people that were heartless and mean, but being like she is, not very many people are so willing to be concerned about her. There's just so many times a person will reach out their hand before they get tired of being bitten or ignored.
She also was the one that started the fight. The sole motivation for it being that she was hurt and in turn wanted to hurt something that was somehow related to what was hurting her.
She was made out to be the bad guy in this situation, and on some level she even knows that she is. What she did was childish, selfish and stupid. How could Rapunzel not see that too?]
[She grunts the noise like the grump she is, not really agreeing with the comment about being nice.
Following the introduction from the other girl, Mai stares at her, seeming to debate between continuing to walk away, or give not being a bitch for two minutes a shot. Her choice comes in the way of her glancing away as she speaks.]

...Uh...I'm sorry, but I didn't get to ask, are you all right?

I'm fine.
[A little more coldness slips into her expression and voice as she glances toward the building they just left.]
Did they send you to follow after me?

You don't even know me. Why do you care?

Are you serious?

[It's very, VERY clear that she's friends with Ty Lee. They act so similar.]

...
[But Mai is not a friendly person, even with people that remind her of a friend. So she does not smile, or say thank you for your concern.]
So... does that make you some kind of welcoming committee?

Ty Lee is here?
[She uncrosses her arms and takes a step closer to her.]
Where?

[Mai seems not surprised at all. She could easily picture Ty Lee cartwheeling in the park, this girl close on her heels.
It was late, but Mai tilts her head, an eyebrow hiking up a bit.]
How much hair do you have?
[Cause she's guessing... a lot.]
