I finished Birth by Sleep over last Christmas break and haven't played a video game sense... So I haven't played coded either.
Apparently the premise is that after KHII and coded Yen Sid is giving Sora and Riku the Mark of Mastery Exam by sending them into the Realm of Sleep where all the forgotten worlds go. All of the worlds were supposed to be restored at the end of KH, but some apparently didn't and ended up in the Realm of Sleep instead I think? And the monsters there are called Dream Eaters instead of Heartless. Except there are a good variety called Spirits or something and they act as Sora and Riku's partners in battle. LIKE POKEMON.
All the craziness with the other Riku (Riku Replica from CoM..?) and Ansem and Xemnas and Axel/Lea (without his eye tattoos!) and young Xehanort (He was the one on the beach at the beginning of BbS I think) and Vanitas and all the TWEWY characters though... o_o I have no idea.
I'm replaying it now. I only beat Ven's story but I kind of forgot what happens... I'm just going to replay it all starting with Terra. So far all I found out was that Vanitas is Ven's dark side. And that Terra is an idiot.
Oooh Sora and Riku's mark of mastery exam. I wonder if Riku would pass since he has THE DARKNESS WITHIN HIM. Aww no more heartless/nobodies/unversed. What a pity. YAY POKEMON.
I won't lie, I'm most excited about having TWEWY characters show up. I love them.
