First Thankgiving Away from Home...major success!

What the title says; I'm rather proud of myself. I managed to roast a turkey and make some side dishes without any major disasters whatsoever. I honestly don't understand the stress people put into the holiday season; it was so easy, I almost wondered if I was doing it all wrong because it seemed too easy. Granted, perhaps some people stress out

For the holidays, its tough when one person is cooking 15+ dishes. If you're by yourself or just with a few easy to satisfy people, it can be easy.

But when you have 25 people coming over, and few agree on eating the same food, it can get crazy. xD

And maybe they called you ma'am because you behaved in a mature manner, unlike other people your age? I've been called ma'am before, but then I don't run around screaming, getting drunk, etc. That, and older women are getting surgeries to look younger, so its harder to tell who is really "old" and who isn't.
