But, unfortunately, this means she can't recover /in the air/ like she'd prefer, so down she goes, with him above her. Of course, Raax is quick to attempt to compensate, dispelling the wings and bringing up both swords to block, and shove him off with one of her legs. She might /not/ have proper leverage for this trick, though.

Raax twirls both swords, shifting her weight to attempt to compensate, glaring him down. She licks her lips, awaiting his next move.

Then, in one fluid motion, he grips the weapon in both hands and does the same move again because he can - only this time with a lot more force*

If he was cutting her, well, that didn't work, as she's thrown backwards by the force of it, straight into a /wall/. She hits it pretty hard, too, and it becomes more evidant that she's cybernetic, as the sound is somewhat metallic, if a little muted. She sparks a little and jerks. Grunting and standing, shaking it off.

With both his arms up and his wings spread like that, it is a potentially stupid move with plenty of openings, but the way things are going he expects to finish her off pretty soon now.

It's a much less controlled and forceful slash than it would have been - definitely not the 'final strike' he had hoped for it to be. "Fuck!" As he lands he curses his own foolishness and there is a visible gash where the sword flew across his stomach and tore his shirt.

She growls, fighting the sensation of pain, standing uneasily. Energy forms behind her, and it's not particularly stable looking, into her wings... oh dear.

As he did in the last fight, he shields himself with his wings - though, this time he's hunched over, clutching the painful wound on his stomach. When the blades pierce his wings he lets out a pained yelp and then his wings fold around him more tightly, making him seem like a feathery pincushion.

There are a few noises of slight pain, and then he opens his wings and peers out at her. Discreetly, and without him needing to stop staring at her, a pair of robotic arms reach out and grab two of the daggers in his wings, pulling them out with a grunt.

From a kneeling position, he launches himself forwards at her to sideswipe her legs with his scythe. Apparently he knows how to /use/ armor even if he doesn't wear it, as one of the cybernetic hands is protecting his chest and stomach and the other his neck and face.

Saturday, September 22, 2007][03:05:25] Raax[Arena_Again]: **And LO. THEY APPEAR IN RAAX'S HIDEOUT. Which, contrary to popular belief, was not on Ara's world. It's an abandoned, potentially condemned apartment building in the Nexus. Though some of the /equipment/ around pretty much states that it hasn't been abandoned for a long while, due to it being survillance stuff. Most of the items have the greek letter of Epsilon on the side, as well.

You're not getting away... this time... *he will try to press Raax up against a wall with a dagger at her throat, but it seems like his body has some ideas other than fighting right at the moment. He pauses, groans, and two pairs of mostly-cybernetic wings rip out of his back - just because it's not as damaging to him and there's very little blood loss doesn't mean it isn't violent and at least a bit painful.

It apparently complies with that, as she gets two more long curved blades in her hands.

Arabelle then proceeds to PIN away with Raax, with Raax's PINpoint, and back to Raax's hideout.

She then slams Raax against the wall, holding her by her neck. "Wakey wakey, clone."

Raax groans, and then glares at Arabelle. "Fuck you... Sending your angelic boyfriend.."

"Heh. I'm gonna doubt that, an' assume you provoked his ass, hon." Arabelle snrks a little, and doesn't say anything as Raax grabs at her arm with both hands.

"So." Raax coughs. "What now, blondie? You gonna be th' typical hero? Tell me how y'all can beat my ass anytime you want, and that I should turn tail and leave you alone?" Raax snorts, it's a half hearted sound. "Heh. That doesn't matter. I don't change, sweetie. I'll terrorize them as long as I'm alive, just to see yo--URK--.." A flash of metal, and one of the swords Raax was using before has just pierced her below the ribcage ".. What kinda hero /are/ you, anyway?"

Arabelle just makes a sound before speaking. "Most folks seemta think I'm of th' stupid variety." She then twists the sword firmly in Raax, who makes a sound in pain. There's also some sort of odd to discern sound of metal, Raax laughs, a hollow, empty sound.

Then there's a chirping, "..Th' hell is that?" Arabelle glares at Raax.

"Hehaha.. You ever wonder what happens when you pierce the liquid energy tank of a malfunctioning force metal generator?" She laughs, louder.

"Oh, SHIT." Arabelle releases the sword as quick as she can, leaping back and triggering her PINpoints, right as Raax goes up, laughing the entire time.

The generator, Raax, and the entire bottom floor of the building, which includes Epsilon's Surviellance equipment, explodes in a loud shower of fire, flames, and metal.
