Y'know, I just don't feel like I can revise at this point. On study leave, yeah, I'm going to make a timetable. But right now I've still got regular frigging school work. And yet everybody's already disappointed because OMG WAAAH I'VE FAAAILED ( Read more... )

Exam time's a bitch, aint it. ^^

I feel your pain with the whole "I can't actually do any work until it's too late" thing. Still, it kinda helps if you think of it as just a few weeks till blissful freedom. Aaaaaah.

I second the "exam period's a bitch" thing, along with doing work when it's too late.

I take it you're not going to uni in September, Shady? I last remember you being unsure.

Nopes, I'm probably going to apply this year. I say 'probably' because I have such a hard time making important commitments. ^^;

I really would like to try getting into a local uni so I don't have to leave home. I don't see how anybody can manage it - by myself in a strange place with no money and actually in debt - I would die!!

You're not in debt. Don't think about the debt until you're out of university ( ... )

This is why I'm scared and confused! x_____x

Never mind... if that's what I have to do, that's what I have to do - I just don't like feeling that I'll already owe people money before I've started earning anything.

The only people who can come out of university not having to owe anybody anything are kids that have had everything fed to them on a plate all their lives, and have university paid for. ;)

Just remember this other bit: ever been told about the whole shebang regarding how you don't have to pay back until you're earning 15k a year?
Well, if after 25 years you've not repaid everything, it's written off. Entirely. They simply forget about it and put it down as a loss. =)

Yeah, I remember that. A few of us came up with this elaborate scam to keep our earnings technically under 15K for 25 years... I think it involved a Swiss bank account... xD

I'm not entirely sure how your finances will work, considering I was the last year to escape Mr Blair's infamous fees, but MD's right, it's not that bad. What are you thinking of doing, anyway? As long as it's not foolishly 6 years long (D'OH!) then it shouldn't be too bad. ;)

I don't even KNOW what I'd do anyway, that's the other problem. x__x

I was going to take philosophy a while back, but then I read about it and decided it wasn't for me, skipped the application months, read MORE about it and now I'm back to square one about whether I should do it or not.
