Supernatural Fic - Long Nights in Cold Months

Jan 06, 2012 02:22

This is a D/C micro-AU I wrote a while back for sycophantastic. Somehow we got on the topic of insomniac!fic, and this was the result. I realized it was a decent enough size, so I thought I'd post it to my journal. It's pretty short for an AU, though. Happy reading!

I'm glad the length didn't detract! Thank you for reading!

oh, I loved this! :):)
(and not just because Cas was doing classical archaeology and was working at walmart after 9 years of study and a PhD, and that seems like the best option for so many classical archeaology people (with doctorates too) that I know right now *slightly sad grin*...)

It's hard times for academics right now. My minor was classical civs, and frankly I'm kinda glad I didn't end up going for a higher degree in it after all. (DESPITE LOVING IT SO MUCH OMG. ROME, ROOOOOOOME!) Anyway, I'm so glad you enjoyed the read!

yes, class civ is an awesome subject but not one on which to build a career (unless you're filthy rich). in one way, it's like from the 19th-mid-20th century again - only aristocrats and kings(usua;;y queens, actually) studied art history back then and nowadays, you have to be just as rich as they were to study it....

I totally loved the read and I hope there's more from you! :):)
