I hope she dies. Actually, no, that would be giving her too much importance.

I hope she just gets another man she wraps around with her legs, because apparently her kid is so annoying, the only way he can get a father figure is for her to sleep with him. Preferably a man suffering horrors, because, hey, the best year of her life was her love's worst.

You and I are going to have to agree to disagree, my friend. I like Lisa, and I would like her alive. My ideal way to have her would be as an Ellen or Bobby figure--recurring, helpful, but not in the thick of the action. My feelings, at least!

I like douche!Sam , because he's not being mopey and bitchy and I felt his character was moving somewhere instead of being stuck in a cycle of Dean, Revenge, Am I Evil?, Dean, Revenge, Dean, Doing Ambiguous Things For A Good Cause, and so forth.

When I was the track pants - NO. Dean, what are you even? What? But he was barefoot, and I found that vaguely sexy, so. Yeah.

I hadn't even thought of that wrt Lisa. It is kinda crazy to take a guy like that in but I suppose she could (or thought she could) count on him to, at the least, not put her and her son in danger.

I like LIsa too. Despite all Dean's issues - he is a good guy. And as she said - he'd just saved the world. He was bound to have some issues. I'm willing to bet it was alot to do with her tender loving care that Dean was as stable and well-adjused(relative) as he was when the show started. I'm willing to bet they've been through a lot together. They WERE in it together and while I don't feel the need for Show to thoroughly explore it - it should be acknowledged.

Yeah, Sam's hair. Who the hell is in charge of that?! And what are they thinking?!

Sam used his own knife, his own salt, his own holy water. All of that coulda been rigged. Crossing my fingers

So totally could have been rigged. Also, should have been made to walk out a ring of Holy Fire, which would be the real worry, in my opinion.

I like you, I do. I'm just so worried about your current life choices--please don't end up dead. ;o;

I like that the writers at least acknowledge the utter fucked-upedness of Dean as of 5.22, though seriously, Lisa's choice there was wtf.

I spent almost the entire episode suspecting that Dean was being gaslighted by djinn pretending to be Sam and the Campbells. I'm still not entirely convinced that they're not messing with him.

This was certainly the weakest season opener for Supernatural yet. :(

Thank you! I knew something felt hinky, but I couldn't put my finger on what bugged me. I guess seeing the rosary shut off the "fakery!" response... but fakeable, for sure.

...mind you... could he fool Bobby's tests? For a year?

Overall, glad to know I'm not alone in my lukewarm response. Or in being on balance pleased Lisa remains alive.

Sam, your hair! It's better.
...really? Good Lord, if that's true I've been doing some serious repressing about S5.
