I agree with you on campaigns, since I miss Maya and Percy, but ... because of how sporadically people show up, it's kind of hard to get one going. I'm not always sure who's going to be there on Saturdays, and to be honest, I prefer playing to GMing these days, because plot preparation is just one more thing I have to worry about over the course of the week ...
And when I game I just kinda want to forget who I am and chill. Hence why I like the crack one-shots so much ... they have a great amount of flexibility. If we could run something with that loose structure of rules, where no one set person GMs, as a campaign? I'd be all for it, but honestly, right now, I'm fine with whatever as long as I get to spend time with people. I didn't come tonight because I had too much to get done here, and half of the Aviario people weren't able to come, but like I said, we'll be there next week. And I want to do a one-shot so Al's not lost and confused or anything. If that makes sense.
