Oh goodness - there are moments when I find a fic that is so brutally raw that I just cannot even stop reading, I just have to drink it all in and let myself be overwhelmed by the power of it.

This is one of those times.

I love the overwhelming discordance inside Sam--of the map and the music and the way they don't speak to each other about the things that are true. (It is a very ouchie period, for them)

I love this. It's so lyrical and breaks my heart for them, but in such a beautiful way! You've made Sam's internal conflict so vivid and tangible.
