the weather people keep telling us that the cold front, and all those storms that keep sliding north of us, will actually be sliding our way. and apparently no one has mentioned this to the cold front, or any of those big storms. i could pass on the tornados, but a break in the 90+ heat index wouldnt suck

err...no, it's hot, but not THAT hot. and the promised cold front plus gentle storms have finally arrived, a bit too late for the communities north of us, which are all flooded through the end of the week from the huge storms that have been stalled on them for two weeks. our storms, damnit. that water should have come here to feed my plants. i don't mean to be callous, i really do feel for all the places that are still sitting under several feet of water, whose summer crops (and income) have all drowned. it's awful that the storms didn't move along like they were supposed to. hmm new post coming on.
