The PYGS Meme

May 10, 2006 09:30

As you may or may not know, pygs_lj is derived from the Y!group called PYGS. Well, in that group, there is an "introduce yourself" form that helps people in the playground get an idea about who they're sharing the sandbox with. It's all in fun. I toyed with the idea of making some kind of presentation posts for each posting-access member to the comm but ( Read more... )

I'd do the meme, but it's kind of "guy-oriented" and half the questions just don't work for a straight girl who never watches sports. Sorry! I have nothing against straight guys who watch sports, by the way. I think you're all mighty swell!

I didn't mean to say that all of the questions were better suited to straight males, just that a number of them are. Sorry if I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I apologize for any unintentional misunderstandings my comments may have caused.

Oh, no need to worry about that! You're right :)

As for the questions, actually a lot of the sillier ones are in fact quotes from movies and stuff. "Do you ever have that dream where you're standing on top of a pyramid surrounded by thousands beautiful naked women who are throwing those little pickles at you?" for example, is actually a reference to a line said by Val Kilmer's character in the movie "Real Genius".

The Britney/Christina question is probably dumb though, I admit. A lady of the female persuasion who did this questionnaire for kicks on the Y!group answered that question with Colin Farrel *g*

But there's no need to do this meme. Like I said, it's an imposition that a lot of people don't need. Anyone who's in the mood for some time-wastage can play along but it's not compulsory or anything, no worries.
