I gave a speech!

It was about Emacs!  And stock-trading!  And the people I was speaking to didn't like any of it!  And I sort of knew that would happen before I even started!  I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment, because I keep trying to tell people things I know they don't want to hear.

They were very polite, except for the guy who said, "I once got suckered into Emacs ’cause I was trying to edit iptables and, for whatever reason, the server was configured to use Emacs by default.  And I was so pissed off!  Why, why would you do this on a production server???"

Well, that's fair enough. Emacs is the product of a deranged imagination, after all. =:)
