I might have to print that out for the office, except I'm seldom there. =:) (Mostly, I either work at home, or one of the library silent study areas. I'm not good at filtering noise out, so peacefulness makes for a much happier and more productive bunny)
I used to be a software engineer (note the orange tassel on the dog photo). Then I was a web developer - that job hasn't exactly ended, but I haven't been putting in much work this year. Mostly these days I do stock-trading, which is just another software job except I'll keep the profits for myself if I ever get any.
30 years ago I read that it takes three years to learn how to do stock trading; I'm almost finished with my second year.
Greetings, Mr. Bunny! I've seen you around on loganberrybunny's journal. I am always on the lookout for interesting feeds for my friends list!
My daughter has managed to get the entire family playing RuneScape (it's cheaper than WoW), but not me. I play the stock market, which is - by far - the slowest computer game I have ever been involved with. Much of this year was spent grinding my experience points up while watching my health points fall, but things seemed to have turned around for me over the last month.
Unfortunately, the latest news is horrible for non-players: the USA has now committed to inflating their currency to worthlessness until morale improves (which it never will). This means that everyone's food costs will be going up, but wages will remain the same.
I am sorry to have taken so long with this reply, but it is difficult for me to talk about the difference between the world as it is presented and the world as it really is. Do you want the red pill or the blue pill
