Ok, that's really nifty! I don't know that I have the skill/time/patience to put that together, but I'm really tempted to try. Probably cheaper than buying larger format hardware!

I tend to but things in pieces over several months, to cut down on the initial outlay. That's how I got a large format for $70. But I'd like a press camera -the rail camera I have is about as portable as a steamer trunk full of bricks. ;)

Oh, that's delightfully spiffy! The Kodak lens just calls out to be used in steampunk cosplay. =:D

I think I'd like to play with a Lensbaby sometime, though I'd really want a little bit of space first - I don't really have anywhere for "product" photography. Then again, I suppose a light box can solve that easily enough, and that'd make for an easier background than the bedsheet. =:)
