I wasn't sure if I wanted to read through all this as I have been realising that david is abused by his dad and I almost cried by imagining it. I know a lot of young people and also friends of mine who went through the same shit, this thought was what made me kept going till the end of the first part. I am glad you kept this horror scene short, but realistic enough to make people be into it and find emotions that definitely make you sad or feeling upset
