Oh, yeah, I'm a big Sam Raimi fan.  Been a big Sam Raimi fan since I discovered my (then) seven-year old son watching Xena: The Warrior Princess and became, myself, a big Xena/Hercules fan

My favourite quote is from Hercules, when he's asked about the gods: "They live forever. It makes them mean and crazy."
Since a couple of my stories have played around with the division between mortal and immortal, that's an insight that I appreciate.
I also love the Evil Dead series - have them all. "Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun."
