Hmm, hmm, hmm. Usually, when Ikki goes off to physical rehabilitation or for an adjustment tuning, he comes back in a very poor mood. The type where he tries to avoid anyone and everyone, including himself, until he either sleeps off the mood or someone smacks it out of him

Kilik's kind of tired and he's kind of had a hard day at work, so to come home to a happy Ikki is a good thing.

He doesn't say anything at first, just sits on the couch, white coat still on, and pulls Ikki into his lap. Kilik may be slim but Ikki was still smaller than him.

"You're happy," he says, kissing at his crows neck lightly.

"Yeah," Ikki grins, and kisses Kilik on the lips, because he's always going to grab the chance for an awesome Welcome Back kiss.

"Happier now that you're back."

And if Kilik had a long day? Then Ikki's state is a good thing, because Ikki can infect him with the happiness!

"Any reason?" He knows Ikki usually isn't in a good mood after that sort of thing, it was the sort of issue he couldn't really fix and just had to live with.

Ikki settles in close, just feeling Kilik's bodyheat and hearing his heartbeat for a long moment.

"Managed to walk a bit without the braces," he says. "It probably won't happen again. But I'm glad it did."

He's learned how to be happy for what he's got, not bitter over what he's lost.
