It isn't confidence, Edward.

It's certainty.

Oh? Pity. Because I'm quite certain that I'm going to find a way out of here.

[Dist the Rose does not knock.]

[Dist huffs up, rustling his collar.]

My face is impeccable. I make sure to look my best. You look like you down a stairwell made of fists.

Besides, I may as well familiarize myself.

[Eddie glowers at Dist for a moment before changing the subject.]

I trust the weapons locker is to your liking?

[After skittering across the floor, one of the cans rolls to a stop at the toe of a golden skate. Slugger continues to watch Edward knock out the rest of the cans, then gives the one at his feet a tap with the end of his bat and sends it rolling toward Edward.]

[puzzlerprince]

[The can rolls back to Edward, knocking into the side of his foot. He reaches down and takes the can in hand before glancing back at Slugger.]

What?

[strike_you_out]

Nothing.

[Eyes shielded beneath his cap's visor, he's trying not to grin about what was in the box with that whip.]

What happened to your face?

[puzzlerprince]

[Averting his gaze now.]

Batman.

[Luke spots Edward and assumes he's still droned as usual, but something seems a bit off here.

He'll take a few steps back and watch from the doorway.]

[puzzlerprince]

[Not noticing Luke's presence in the doorway, Eddie will pull out the mask of Selina's costume. It's a thin, leather mask, same color as the suit. Whiskers just beneath the eyeholes, large cat-ears poking out on either side.]

[tapshoetomove]

[Some kind of cat...mask? Curiosity gets the better of Luke, and he speaks up even though he isn't expecting an answer from the drone.]

What's that?

[puzzlerprince]

[Freezing up. Freezing RIGHT UP. Eddie drops the mask back into the box before facing Luke.]

Nothing important, Luke.
