[After skittering across the floor, one of the cans rolls to a stop at the toe of a golden skate. Slugger continues to watch Edward knock out the rest of the cans, then gives the one at his feet a tap with the end of his bat and sends it rolling toward Edward.]

[The can rolls back to Edward, knocking into the side of his foot. He reaches down and takes the can in hand before glancing back at Slugger.]

Nothing.

[Eyes shielded beneath his cap's visor, he's trying not to grin about what was in the box with that whip.]

[Averting his gaze now.]

[strike_you_out]

One second, I'm in the kitchen, about to sample more of Pinkie Pie's cupcakes. The next, I'm getting my face beaten in by that buffoon of a bat. [He sulks.] I wonder what I did say to set him off. [It must have been something good.]

[Slugger contemplates this seriously. Could the Batman's fists have triggered the undroning? Or had it been a mere coincidence?]

He looked different, like another person. I saw his corpse...
