[Curious enough about all the things going on, Arslan has swung by the Christmas Village after school today. After looking for a moment, he'll naturally spot you shivering, and move over to offer you his mittens]

What is this all about? Do you know?

I haven't a clue. My boss only asked that I show up here at the crack of dawn wearing... this.

[He gestures to the demeaning outfit.]

[wow, American Christmases are weird. he's able to look past the disturbing ensemble and feel bad for the guy, though.]

[Scout REFUSES to let Grady have the satisfaction of him being miserable about this anymore. Christmas Village? Elf costume? NO PROBLEM! He's been running around all day, being cheerful and having a good time, even if the drones are starting to wear on his patience.]

So whattaya think? On Valentine's Day are they gonna make us dress up like cupids 'r somethin'?

Perish the thought. Perhaps on New Years' Eve, they'll give us all sashes so we can be Baby New Year.

At least I already have some green formalwear, should he decide on changing up our uniforms for St. Patrick's Day.

[During his day shift, Eddie might notice his terrible pseudo-son near one of the Dear Santa mailboxes. It looks as though Slugger has just dropped off a letter and is now staring at the box with a contemplative frown, apparently lost in thought.]

[Eddie can't help but look stunned at that. He'd never expected Slugger to be full of Christmas Spirit. Well, he didn't expect himself to either.]

[Slugger doesn't notice right away until he turns his attention to the strangely decorated assembly otherwise known as "Christmas Village". That's when he spots the familiar face. And the ridiculous elf costume.

Suddenly he's grinning ear to ear like a shot fox. Oh, how the Christmas cheer has spread!]

[And now Edward's scowling in response, no doubt understanding just what's so funny to Slugger.]

[Reluctantly, Slugger makes his way to the dining room where he will appear quite suddenly stepping away from the wall. He stares first at the table and then at Eddie, silently awaiting an explanation.]

[Edward glances first at Slugger, then at Death, whose appearances aren't really surprising him that much anymore.]

Good, you've both arrived. I suppose while we wait for Susan to come downstairs, I'll start explaining.

Slugger, I know it's a bit early to be dealing out Christmas presents, but I couldn't resist.

[He gestures to the game board, expecting some level of praise or gratitude.]

[Edward, for his generosity, receives a look of confusion. Slugger doesn't get it, nor does he really "get" Christmas. Unsure, he'll slowly take a seat beside Death and peer at Eddie from the corner of his eye...]
