As those of you who live in the area may have noticed, it's been really cold around here the last few days (cold for this area, at least). Last night, we were talking about going out for dinner. I don't think I could have stayed. My daughter and I went out to eat in Bethesda, and it was cold in the restaurant -- but not as cold as 50. Brrrr.

Speaking of Brrrrr - are you going to the festivities on Tuesday? My husband wants to, but I think I'll stay home.

It didn't actually feel that cold in the restaurant when we first went in and sat down. After we were there for a while it got a bit chilly, but then my sweetie noticed a space heater and decided that it felt warmer. &;) Once the food came, I didn't notice the ambient temperature being a problem at all.

I'm not planning to go in on Tuesday. It sounds way too complicated. A friend suggested that anyone who wanted to go into town by Metro ought to allow 6 hours. That seems totally ridiculous to me!
