Every year for Christmas we get together with sweetie's relatives. We exchange gifts with all of sweetie's aunts and uncles. You can always count on Uncle Bob to give you something totally unexpected. This year, we received from him a Stylish Gift

Ha ha! That's GREAT! I love getting totally bizarro gifts like that. So random and something you know NO ONE else would get you!

I don't think anyone else would get something like that for us, but I can definitely see him giving the same thing to somebody else! He's given temperature-sensing electronic meat carving forks to at least two people in the family as Christmas gifts, on two separate occasions.

It sounds like your extended family is a hoot! And there is always one gift that people are still talking about a year later. I have no doubt you will really remember the "stylish gift". Her teenage daughter quickly hid the gift on the other side of the sofa. He did not seem to have any idea that there was any problem with his having given a game with that name to his sister-in-law.

His most appreciated gift was a set of DVDs of The Daily Show, given to his brother. The DVDs were promptly appropriated by his niece, the one who had hidden the ( ... )

oh my gosh....he obviously doesn't think. His poor sister-in-law....sheesh. Well, I hope she has a good prognosis and one can hope the uncle looks at the big picture next year.
