My sweetie and I went with tamnonlinear to see March of the Penguins a couple of months ago. We were talking about the movie last night, and sweetie and I told tamnonlinear this story. She thought it was funny, so I promised to post it ( Read more... )

I was doing a little research on Emperor Penguins the other day. The average penguin weighs between 70-90 lbs. They also can live to be 20 years old. The males lose half their body weigh during the time that the mothers are gone. Amazing birds!

I have a question about Argyle, but I didn't know how to contact you except through this.....Anyway, my question is.....the dance program published on the internet is different from the one on the brochure. Which is the correct one?

I'm confused. The programs posted on the Argyle web site and the ones printed in the brochure (PDF), for both the Welcome Dance and the Ball, look the same to me. Did you print the brochure from the web site, or did you get it from someone else? It should say Argyle XXII, Nov. 4-6, 2005.

OOPS!!! Thank you so much....the brochure that I printed was from 2004!!! Ack. We are coming. JCS filled out the brochure yesterday evening, he just has to mail it. :-)

You're welcome, and I am so pleased to hear that you are coming!

Did you use the right registration form? Registration costs are the same, so it shouldn't be a big problem if you filled out the wrong form. The specialty class varies depending on who we get for teachers -- this year is waltz/hambo -- so you may want to take a look at that, but you can also just pay at the door if you don't preregister for it. Also, the schedule is different this year, so definitely make sure to check the schedule in case it affects your travel plans.
