His attention was diverted away when he saw a figure slipping into the seat in front of him, and Jin looked up to acknowledge the other's presence. Out of instinct, his eyes moved to study Kame, lingering unusually long on his face, before glancing down at the rest and then finally averting his gaze back to the table. He could feel something was wrong, suspicion arousing in his gut. But with what's going on right now, did he even have the right to be caring about Kame? Raising a hand, Jin motioned with two fingers for the waiter to come in and bring their orders, now that Kame had returned to the table

Jin just smirked at the reply. "Don't worry, I won't drive recklessly. You're in safe hands." With that, he pushed the gear trigger forward and stepped on the pedal, hard. In Tokyo, there's a lot of cars on the street, driving at high speed on normal road would be hard, even at night. But Jin knew where they could go for a long drive. The highway.

At first, he contemplated the plan of hitting a club, but after the previous event that occured the last time they both did, he wasn't sure anymore if that's the right idea. As pleasant as it had been. The drive hadn't been long, they went on a speedway and there wasn't really any dangerous stunts since Jin didn't get to do much anyway. He took a long detour through the highway back to Kame's place, but of course, with some help from the gps computer sytem of his. If he didn't, they could've ended up getting lost until the next morning. Or worse, they might end up somewhere unknown. Such was Jin's skill at getting lost. He parked the car outside of Kame's apartment building, glancing out

Kame waited for the following words after Jin's 'so', but it never came and so he thought of speaking up himself, repeating the "So.." But even he didn't really know what to say else. "I.." he started, glancing at Jin and offered a smile. "The premiere was fun." He shifted a bit in his seat. "And.. I'm glad we got to.. talk things out." The last part was said in a bit of an awkward way since he wouldn't really want to think back about his small outburst in the bathroom. It was, kind of, embarrassing after all. Looking at Jin expectantly, he waited, because he wasn't really sure if he was supposed to step out now or what.

Jin was about to say something, but he shut his mouth and simply nodded with a smile. He somehow remembered the words his friend had told him about his attitude, and he couldn't help but felt slightly guilty for not treating Kame nicer than what he had given.

"Hey." He called out after a long pause, looking deep into Kame's eyes. "Could we, you know, start over?" He asked very carefully, his hand motioning to both of them. "As friends." The way they were now, it was too awkward. And Jin didn't like it. There wasn't any definition for what they were. Not even acquaintance. Just co-workers, maybe. Nothing else.

[ooc: See? Look who's the thief now? Aisyh, ahjumma. Stick to one, man. I'd like to have a transformer, but I don't want to be one. All those parts will make me stiff. xDD Speaking of which, can I make Jin's car a transformer? 8DDD That'd be so cool.]

Kame stayed silent, as if thinking about the question - not that he really needed to contemplate about it. He was just thinking for a bit. The thought to start over sounded tempting, something that definitely was the right decision after all the drama. He just wanted to forget. Most of the things. "That would be nice." he said, returning the deep gaze of Jin for a couple of seconds before breaking it, realizing that this was probably the part where he should start taking his leave. He gave the other a smile and released the seatbelt. "Well, I guess I'll talk to you soon, then." He got out of the car, wishing the other a "Good night, Jin." before closing the door and taking a few steps backwards to watch Jin take off.

Standing in the open air he took a deep breath, releasing it in a satisfied sigh. A fresh start, it definitely felt good. And with that last thought in mind he headed for his apartment complex, a smile dancing on his lips as he thought about how that night had ended unexpectantly well.
