The last time he'd slept so peaceful was quite some time ago. He usually was a light sleeper, one that woke up at every small sound, one that woke up very early in the morning - even if he went to sleep very late that day. The deep slumber he was in right now, felt different from his usual ones, and he felt content.
His dream.
It wasn't much what he was dreaming, but he was hugging something, and it felt good, even if he had no idea what that something was. He could only feel, not see. But it didn't matter, as long as he could cuddle it, he felt satisfied. Smiling, he nuzzled into the something, letting out a contented sigh. Something was moving his hair and he stirred slightly, almost close to waking up, but still it wasn't enough

The groan from behind him reminded Jin that he had forcefully dropped an injured Kame off from his arm, his face scrunched up in an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that. Are you okay?" Jin asked, his gaze lingering on Kame for a while to see any additional damages; but when there were none, he slipped out of bed to look for his cellphone. "Damn, where did I put it?" He looked at the nightstand, searched the drawers, and he came up with nothing. Walking out of his bedroom, Jin started to search other parts of his apartment, calling out to Kame to go back to sleep.
His first stop was the living room - because it was the closest - and he was really glad to find his phone on the coffee table, immediately picking it up to check for missed calls. There were none, but there was a message that made him sigh in relief. 'Meeting cancelled. The sponsor's boss is sick.' He looked at the clock in his phone, smiling slightly. There were a few more hours before work. He could do lunch now.

Kame just nodded at the question, softly rubbing his cheek to lessen the pain, though it didn't help that much. Slightly tilting his head to his right, he watched as Jin searched for something, wondering what it was the other was searching for. Before he could even ask, Jin was already walking out of his bedroom, telling him to go back to sleep. And Kame sighed. He laid onto the bed, half of his body on the part where Jin slept, while his lower half was on his side.
My side..?
His thoughts went to thinking about couples who shared a bed. Once claimed either the right or left side, while the other took the one that was free. Or they would argue about it, and eventually, one would give in. He smiled.
My side.
It felt.. right.
But it wasn't his side. Maybe only temporarily, but still not really, his. He stared at the ceiling, hoping to get rid of his weird thoughts. Maybe he should get up, but Jin wouldn't like that. And so he was doomed to get bored. Again. Alone. In this bed

Pocketing his phone, Jin wondered what to eat for lunch as he made his way back to the bedroom. Somehow, rather than thinking about his lunch, he found himself more concerned with the fact whether Kame was still asleep, the thought itself making his hungry stomach temporarily forgotten. Jin wasn't used to taking care of injured people. In fact, he was usually the one being taken care of and pampered by his friends and family. It got him thinking; what sort of food would be okay to give to an injured person? The normal food? Since Kame was injured, not sick.
Jin had been too focused with his thoughts that he didn't realize Kame was in front of the bedroom door until he was a meter away, noticing the legs first, then Kame's whole figure. He frowned slightly. "You got out of bed." He stated listlessly, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, the words 'even though I told you not to' died before he even mentioned it. Jin sighed mentally. He should've known. Kame's stubbornness wasn't one that could be easily broken and rivaled
